Land Disbursement Policy Framework for Affordable Housing
Crown and Surplus Lands
Effective April 1, 2008, crown and surplus provincial lands are being freed up for affordable housing projects through the Government of Alberta Land Disbursement Policy Framework for Affordable Housing. This policy identifies provincial land that may be sold to municipalities and not-for-profit groups for a nominal sum to be used for creating affordable housing for families and seniors.
