Affordable Housing Task Force

Premier Stelmach mandated the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing to establish a task force to recommend innovative and cost-effective ways to make affordable housing more available and accessible in Alberta.

The Alberta Affordable Housing Task Force membership was announced on February 1, 2007. Chaired by Len Webber, MLA for Calgary-Foothills, the task force travelled to nine locations across the province from February 16 to March 2 to gather information and hear Albertans' concerns and suggestions.
